The Manager Partnerships leads a team of 4 employees and focuses on growing our business through managing and developing existing channel partnerships and building new partnerships across Europe (Payment Service Providers, ISO’s, resellers) across verticals defined in the commercial strategic.

 

 

Getting the right things done!

  • Lead by example and manage a team of 4 FTE
  • Selectively prioritize, recruit, build and manage new business opportunities with our current and new partners/ channels within Europe based on revenue opportunity, technical ability, and understanding their business model
  • Focus in increasing our reseller channel for the EMS product line in POS, eCom and Omnichannel solutions
  • Drive the introduction of the Payment Facilitator model to existing and new partners
  • Revenue and contribution responsible for all indirect channels
  • Coordinate the onboarding new partners/ channels and work closely with the integration managers and manage the relationship after launch
  • Positioning of product offerings through the co-ordination of customized and solution-based presentations, workshops and interaction with the partners/ channels
  • Develop and execute comprehensive segment specific sales and marketing programs
  • Develop and implement account strategies, forecasts & agreed sales opportunity plans for each channel to grow company market share and profit
  • Work closely with internal departments to provide and coordinate service and new product initiatives to the partners/ channels. Areas include but not limited to Product Development, Risk, Operations, Legal and Sales
  • Identification, management, promotion and coordination of appropriate and available internal/external resources and knowledge in supporting the partners/ channels at all levels
  • Report to the Commercial Director and be part of the Commercial Leadership Team

Required experience and knowledge

  • Minimum Masters degree required
  • Minimum of 7 years of delivering new business in the online payment industry
  • Knowledge of ecommerce, platforms and online payment industry
  • Strong commercial background, proven sales ability including pricing, relationship building and management, consultative selling
  • Learning and knowing the dynamics and trends of the market segment and translating that knowledge into an effective, profitable partner/ channel strategy
  • Proven ability to generate new business and effectively qualify opportunities by building strong relationships with partners/ channels
  • Proven experience in leading the negotiation of complex contractual arrangements
  • Fluency in Dutch and English
  • Additional languages are preferred
  • Advanced computer literacy (PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Access)

 

Other significant role requirements

  • Fulltime (40 hours per week)
  • Responsible for managing, motivating, coaching, training, development (personal growth) of the Partnerships team
  • Work closely with internal Relationships: Sales Managers & Sales Teams, Products, Marketing, Project & Change, Finance and Risk
