Getting the right things done! 

As a Senior Business Analyst the following will be part of your major tasks and responsibilities:

  • You be the bridge between the business problem and the (technology) solutions. As EMS uses external vendors for its technology solutions, you’ll be the linking pin to these vendors driving development
  • Analyze, transform and ultimately resolve the business problems using a variety of techniques including requirements engineering, process management, architecture, quality assurance and operational readiness.
  • Continuously engage with the (external) IT development team and refine and review their deliverables during project start, development, deployment and Test
  • Act as subject matter expert for various processes and applications
  • Ensure that all internal and external stakeholders on all levels (up to General Management) remain fully engaged.

You will report to the Director Technology and work closely together with your BA colleagues but also with managers and stakeholders across the business. The professional team members work closely together and challenge each other on an ongoing basis. EMS offers a dynamic, professional, informal environment and short lines of communication.

What do you bring to the table?

What do you need to be successful at our organisation? Well, you have to enjoy changing gears quickly and getting your teeth into complex projects. 

In addition, we ask for the following:

  • Bachelor or Master degree, preferably within the area of Information Technology;
  • Energetic, positive minded team player, focused on cooperation and sharing knowledge; exceptional written and verbal communication skills; ability to create and maintain a large trusted network at all levels within the organization;
  • Good understanding of requirement engineering; knowledge/affinity of IT architecture, API’s and/or programming languages is preferred;
  • At least several years’ experience as Product Owner or Business Analyst, experience within the Payments industry and more specifically eCom preferred;
  • Excellent interpersonal skills. Pragmatic, persistent, solution-oriented and result driven; Continuously driven to make improvements and to achieve result;
  • Professional level of the English language; Dutch and French would be an asset.
