Client Service Expert

What this job is all about

As a customer service expert, you will be the first point of contact for our customers in terms of technical support. You provide an excellent customer experience by helping and advising our salespeople on a wide range of our products and services. You do this to ensure they can accept payments and focus on their business.

Getting the right things done!

As Client Service Expert the following will be part of your major tasks and responsibilities:

  • Providing an excellent customer experience by offering support through various channels, including email and telephone;
  • Providing expertise on EMS products, services and systems and providing technical support and troubleshooting skills in handling complex issues, incidents and complaints;
  • Supporting your customer service colleagues on a daily basis within your area of expertise. You will ensure that knowledge is captured and shared within EMS;
  • Proactively supervise and train colleagues;
  • Contribute to the optimization of our customer service processes to improve efficiency, quality and customer satisfaction. You will identify and resolve root causes of problems that occur more frequently;
  • Resolving technical POS terminal issues for vendors/customers, such as GPRS and connection problems, download errors et cetera;
  • Supporting vendors/customers and their web developers in correctly integrating the vendors/customers' website into the new EMS e-commerce gateway solution;
  • Explaining and clarifying integration documents to customers and supporting them in setting up selected shopping cart plug-ins.

Your team
The growing customer service team currently consists of 14 customer service experts, reporting to the Customer Service Manager. The team works closely with each other to ensure alignment, support and improvement.

What do you bring to the table?

What do you need to be successful at our organisation? Well, you have to enjoy changing gears quickly and getting your teeth into complex projects. Do you also feel at home in an ambitious, service-oriented environment where you work together with your (other) passionate colleagues to make continual improvements, both externally for our commercial clients and internally? Key requirements for the role of Client Service Expert are strong communication skills in at least 2 languages (Dutch, English, French), an engaged problem solver with a hands on mentality and you have a strong customer focus and are able to leverage the voice of the customer.

In addition, we ask for the following:

  • A Bachelor Degree;
  • Minimum of 2 years work experience in a technical customer service role;
  • Technical and/or expert knowledge of payment processing and the operation of EMS's supporting systems;
  • Knowledge to identify root causes of more complex problems vendors may face in the event of incidents, and devise solutions to resolve them structurally.
