What this job is all about!

As the People Manager for our Key Account Sales team, you will be responsible for all people management activities within the department, including conducting regular 1-1 meetings, providing feedback and coaching, and overseeing mid-year and year-end reviews. You will also support the team with staff planning, recruitment, succession planning, onboarding, and training. Your dedication to fostering a supportive work environment will be crucial as you lead and empower our team to excel in the competitive landscape of Key Account Sales. Getting the right things done!

  • Lead, coach, support, motivate and develop the Key Account Sales Team, currently 10 FTE (Dutch speaking & different seniorities).
  • Support the development, adoption and implementation of business development strategies, forecasts & sales opportunity plans to grow company market share and profit.
  • Work closely with internal departments to provide input for employee succession planning, development and  performance reviews.
  • Report to the Chief Commercial Officer and be part of the Commercial Leadership Team.

What do you bring to the table?

We would like you to have!

  • People Leadership Experience: A minimum of 7 years of proven experience in people leadership, preferably within the online payment industry, showcasing your ability to guide and inspire a high-performing team.
  • Exceptional Communication Skills: Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to facilitate transparent and effective interactions with team members, stakeholders, and senior management.
  • Coaching and Mentoring: Demonstrated track record of coaching and mentoring team members to enhance their skills, address challenges, and foster a culture of continuous learning.
  • Adaptable Leadership Approach, empathy, driving business results.
  • Performance Management: Experience in setting clear performance expectations, conducting regular evaluations, and implementing strategies to improve individual and team performance.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in both Dutch and English is required, with additional languages being an advantage.
  • Education: A completed Bachelor or Master’s degree is preferred.
