What this job is all about

As a Sales Executive, you play a vital role in proactively and reactively nurturing, expanding, and retaining our relationships with SMEs. This entails diligently following up on marketing campaigns through phone calls and/or emails. Your keen eye identifies opportunities for cross-selling and upselling, allowing you to offer new services and products to our existing customers. Additionally, you promptly address alerts such as down trading and negative margins. From the moment the first transaction is processed, you collaborate closely with the sales team, ensuring all sales activities are effectively followed up on. Your adaptable nature enables you to consistently deliver exceptional customer service and create positive customer experiences.

As a Sales Executive your key responsibilities encompass:

  • Managing your portfolio by analyzing vendor volumes and margins, making necessary adjustments to maintain healthy margins.
  • Embracing a proactive approach to consultative selling and recommending best practices, including the utilization of suitable payment options to enhance customer conversion rates.
  • Accurately and astutely collecting, documenting, and evaluating market challenges, industry opportunities, and competitor activities to identify fresh sales prospects.
  • Effectively managing a customer base alongside your New Business colleagues.

The successful candidate will also have: 

  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent level of working and thinking is required.
  • Previous experience in a commercial role within the SME segment (preferred).
  • A genuine team spirit and a commercial mindset, complemented by strong analytical capabilities.
  • Drive and determination to achieve noteworthy results. 
  • Customer satisfaction orientation and a commitment to delivering quality are paramount, and you excel in effectively communicating the value of our offerings to customers.
