Are you experienced in successfully leading a team within Operations in a client focused, (technical) complex and demanding B2B environment? Are you highly motivated to get the people, systems and processes to the right next level? What this job is all about!

  • Lead the Merchant Boarding Team (currently consisting of 2 Seniors and approximately 12 Agents) as direct report to the Director Finance & Operations.
  • Optimize quality of service and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Improve processes and workflows in an effective and efficient way.
  • Play a key role in increasing scalability of the organization (people, processes and systems), implementing changes towards “Instant Boarding” and keeping the team motivated and well equipped for this new way of working.

 

Getting the right things done!

  • Manage, coach, motivate, train, develop and support team members.
  • Set an example in demonstrating customer centricity.
  • Create a can-do team with shared best practices.
  • Take responsibility for ensuring the Boarding & Maintenance Service Levels are met.
  • Optimize the working together with other departments with the aim to optimize our Customer’s Experience.
  • Evaluate and improve the team’s roles & responsibilities and related work processes within the Implementations area.
  • Act as senior user in major projects and continuously look for improvements which lead to efficiency.
  • Be primary point of escalation for customers.
  • Conduct periodic reviews, including mid-year and year-end conversations.
  • Create periodic reports to Management.

 

We would like you to have!  

  • Bachelor or Master degree;
  • Minimum of five years’ experience in a leading role within Operations, preferably in a dynamic Business-to-Business environment;
  • Experienced People Manager with excellent leadership, motivating, inspiring and coaching skills, driven to get the best out of people;
  • Positive, energetic, pro-active individual with a pragmatic, solution and goal oriented approach;
  • Client focused, quality-driven andable to map plans and activities against the EMS vision;
  • Exemplary influencing, advising and communication skills at all levels;
  • Able to define targets, priorities, resources, time and actions required to achieve goals;
  • Strong analytical skills; able to see the connections, can interoperate the processes/reports and has the ability to discover and solve the bottlenecks;
  • Pragmatic, persistent, solution-oriented and result driven;
  • Attention to details and able to see the big picture;
  • Flexible and well able to operate successfully in periods of rapid growth and change;
  • Fluent in Dutch and English.
