What this job is all about!

  • Acquire new key (corporate) prospects, build and maintain strong business relationships.
  • Manage and further strengthen the relationship with ABN AMRO Relationship Management.
  • Grow revenue and secure business profits through successful B2B selling of our Payment Solutions.
  • Coordinate all aspects of the accounts being (technical) sales support, project management, sales bids and contracts.
  • Work closely with other EMS departments like Implementation Management, Marketing, Operations, Finance and Risk Management to gain required support. 

 

Getting the right things done!

  • Build and manage a new business pipeline, seizing the opportunity of the extensive ABN AMRO network of Corporate Clients.
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans for each (corporate) account identifying the core Client requirements.
  • Effectively follow-up on ABN AMRO referrals; tracking & tracing new business.
  • Take the lead in writing, presenting and closing Sales Proposals (RFPs).
  • Have regular face-to-face meetings with Corporate Clients, approximately 4 meetings a week.
  • Ensure being up to speed with evolving product functionality, process technology and industry trends.

 

Description of a day in the life of a New Business Manager Corporate Clients

You plan your day and week balancing networking, administration and client meetings. Typically you will be busy working on account plans,  managing relations, writing RFPs and visiting  (new) clients, regularly together with ABN AMRO Relationship Managers.

You are part of the Corporate Sales Team that consists of New Business Managers and Sales Support. You work closely with other departments and colleagues, specifically the Integration Managers, the Pricing Analyst, Compliance & Legal department and the Boarding Team. EMS offers a ‘work hard, play hard environment’; a positive, social ambiance and short/ direct communication lines.

 

We would like you to have!  

  • Bachelor or Master degree;
  • Proven track record in consultative selling to Large Corporate Clients, preferably but not necessarily in de Payments industry;
  • Truly passionate about your work, ambitious, deal driven and result oriented;
  • Proven ability in delivering winning RFP’s/ RFI’s;
  • Excellent negotiation, influencing, presentation and communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally at executive level;
  • Creative, ‘out of the box’, strategic thinker with problem solving attitude;
  • A detail oriented, self-starter mentality, taking ownership and responsibility;
  • Ability to thrive in a changing, international organization;
  • Fluent in Dutch and English, knowledge of other languages is an advantage.
