Are you an experienced relationship manager with excellent consultative selling skills, highly motivated to drive our strategy in relation to POS partner management? What this job is all about

  • Maintain and develop the effective strategy for EMS regarding the approach of POS Partners, like for instance cash register solution providers, software companies, POS resellers and integrators.

  • Grow business by managing and developing existing and new POS Partner relations within Europe.

  • Connect new Partners and manage the configuration process of online and offline systems according to Partners needs within the agreed service levels.


Getting the right things done

  • Build and manage the relationship with our current Partners/ channels within Europe.

  • Identify key new partners and secure the relationship

  • Take care of all commercial and contractual negotiations with the Partners.

  • Ensure efficient and effective boarding and implementation of new Partners, working closely with the Partner’s sales and technical organization.

  • Manage international projects;  define work procedures/ KPI’s/ SLA’s  and set priorities to allocate available resources.

  • Identify, advise and assist in implementing new or improved products, processes and procedures.


Description of a day in the life of the Relationship Manager Partnerships at EMS

You day starts with an excellent Nespresso to get yourself ready for planning your game strategy to grow partner’s relationships, sales and the expansion of EMS footprint through partners. Typically, you will be busy working on account plans, managing relations, coordinating with the different departments involved on partner’s projects and visiting  (new) partners around Europe.

The Partnership Team currently consists of 1 Head of Partnerships and 4 Relationship Managers Partnerships. The professional, multinational team members work closely together and challenge each other on results. We would like you to have

  • Minimum Bachelor degree;

  • Proven track record in relationship management and consultative selling;

  • Work experience in the Payment industry is essential;

  • An existing network of contacts within the industry of POS solution providers;

  • Excellent negotiation, influencing, presentation and communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally at executive level;

  • Ability to articulate complex issues clearly to Partners, management and internal departments;

  • Continuous learning mentality and eager to challenge/ improve current processes;

  • International background and experience in a global organization is highly preferred;

  • Creative and strategic thinker with problem solving attitude;

  • Fluent in Dutch and English, knowledge of other languages is an advantage.
