What this job is all about!

  • Proactively and reactively manage, grow and retain Small and Medium Enterprise relationships by telephone, e-mail, and marketing campaigns.
  • Identify cross and upsell opportunities and proactively sell new services and products to existing Clients.
  • Demonstrate flexibility,  inventiveness and commitment to service Clients, providing a consistent and positive Customer experience.
  • Work closely together with an international team in multiple disciplines including Marketing, Operations, Risk, Finance and Compliance.


Getting the right things done!

  • Frequently make outbound calls to Clients, do cross and upsell, ensure Client satisfaction and retention.
  • Work closely with Marketing and Pricing on cross and upsell and retention campaigns.
  • Help the Client with any payment related questions.
  • Follow closely trends and new product functionalities in the payments industry.
  • Manage an effective handover of relationships from your New Business colleagues.
  • Participate in EMS projects and contribute to the continuous improvement of EMS processes.

You are part of the SME Team and you work closely with other departments, being mainly Marketing, Pricing, Legal, Compliance and the Boarding Team. The communication lines are short and direct. The team members challenge each other on results, agreements and other forms of output. 


We would like you to have!

  • Minimum Bachelor degree;
  • At least two years inside sales experience in a professional environment; preferably (but not necessarily) within Payments;
  • Proven track record in achieving targets in a B2B service based industry;
  • Experienced negotiator with excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  • Truly passionate about your work, ambitious and result oriented;
  • Client and quality focused, able to sell value to our clients;
  • Proactive approach to work and eager to take ownership of your workload;
  • Social and helpful team player with excellent interpersonal skills, able to build relationships;
  • Fluent in Dutch and English, additional languages are preferred.
