What this job is all about

  • Acquire new key corporate prospects; build and maintain strong business relationships within the so called higher risk (7995) segment: Gaming, Gambling, Dating, etc.
  • Grow revenue and secure business profits through successful B2B selling of our Payment Solutions.


Getting the right things done

  • Selling is in your DNA: you always focus on bringing in business and think strategically on winning deals.
  • Build and manage a new business pipeline, directly + by seizing the opportunity of the extensive network of Corporate Clients from our Partners.
  • Develop and execute a strategic Sales plan identifying the core opportunities in your vertical.
  • Effectively follow-up on Partner referrals; tracking & tracing new business.
  • Take the lead in writing, presenting and closing Sales Proposals (RFPs).
  • Spend as much time as possible in face-to-face meetings with Corporate Clients and Partners.
  • Ensure being up to speed with evolving product functionality, process technology and industry trends.
  • Work closely with other EMS departments like Marketing, Operations, Finance and Risk Management to gain required support. 


Description of a day in the life of an Ecommerce Payments Sales Manager

You plan your day and week balancing networking, acquisition, administration and client meetings. Typically you will be busy working on account plans,  managing relations, writing RFPs and visiting  (new) Clients, Partners and events across Europe.

You are part of the Corporate Sales Team that consists of New Business Managers and Sales Support. You work closely with other departments and colleagues, specifically the Integration Managers, the Pricing Analyst, Compliance & Legal department and the Boarding Team. EMS offers a ‘work hard, play hard environment’; a positive, social ambiance and short/ direct communication lines.


We would like you to have

  • Bachelor or Master degree;
  • Proven track record in consultative selling to Large Corporate Clients;
  • Experience in selling e-Com payment solutions is highly preferred.  A network at C-level within the higher risk segment (Gaming, Gambling, Dating) is essential;
  • Truly passionate about your work, ambitious, deal driven and result oriented;
  • Proven ability to continuously deliver revenue;
  • Knows how to qualify opportunities and win RFP’s/ RFI’s;
  • Excellent negotiation, influencing, presentation and communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally at executive level;
  • Creative, ‘out of the box’, strategic thinker with problem solving attitude;
  • A detail oriented, self-starter mentality, taking ownership and responsibility;
  • Ability to thrive in a changing, international organization;
  • Strong analytical and forecasting skills;
  • Fluent in English.
